Built to Surprise, Made to Keep

Personaliized color changing mug when it hot

The science behind the surprise

  • 11oz mug made from durable, heat-resistant ceramic
  • Coated with a heat-sensitive layer that shifts color once hot liquid is added
  • Hidden design appears gradually as the mug warms, not all at once
  • Not to be confused with our Black Mug — both start off solid black, but a Black Mug shows its design at any temperature, while this one stays fully black until hot liquid brings the design to the surface
  • Full-color imprinting for a vivid, long-lasting design once revealed
  • Printed in the USA
  • Microwave and dishwasher safe — no special care routine needed
Customized magic mug with photo

What's hiding inside theirs

  • Upload a photo to be the thing that appears once the heat kicks in
  • Add a name, a date, or a short line only they'll fully understand
  • Works well for a couple's photo, a family snapshot, or a pet who's basically family
  • Adjust character details like skin tone, hair, or outfit if using a design-based layout
  • Stick to standard English characters so the reveal stays crisp and readable
  • Use the live preview to see roughly how the hidden design will appear before ordering
